PRODUCTIVITY AND PRODUCTIVITY MEASUREMENTS

MODULE INTRODUCTION

This module will help students understand the basic concepts of productivity, identify the factors affecting productivity, the variables and measurement, and its importance to various stakeholders. Also, this module will expose students to use proper decision tools to answer productivity issues, including information and communication technology, to critically, analytically, and creatively solve problems and design strategies to drive the best results.

COURSE OUTCOME TARGETTED BY THE MODULE

1. Utilize quantitative and/or qualitative techniques in solving business problems

2. Develop a comprehensive business plan or business analysis anchored on one’s knowledge and skills in management, marketing, accounting, finance and economics.

LO1: Applied the formula of productivity used in computing productivity problem sets, using single-factor and multi-factor approaches
